4 Ways Buca Can Help You Celebrate Graduation Season
The clock is ticking to the end of another academic year and for some families that means there is a graduation to celebrate. We have 4 ways to help you celebrate this special time:
- Have your Graduation Party at Buca
Graduation season means it’s time to find that special restaurant and book your big party. This is no time to be quiet and boring. It’s time to let loose and celebrate! At Buca di Beppo we love a party and we know how to make them memorable. Our friendly, professional staff will help you plan the perfect lunch, dinner, or banquet to celebrate that special someone’s big day. We suggest you reserve one of our semi-private dining rooms where your family and friends can comfortably gather at large communal tables and booths to converse and share our family-style dishes.
- Have your Graduation Party Catered by Buca
Our party pans really deliver! A single Party Pan feeds up to 20 adults and we offer Half Pans as well to customize your perfect graduation party menu. Don’t forget dessert! Plain sheet cakes are pretty common at most graduation parties, so make your party extra special with Buca di Beppo fresh baked brownies, cookies, and chocolate chip cannoli. Let Buca provide all the entrées, bread, salad, beverages, and desserts that guests will want after a long graduation ceremony. We will deliver your feast to any location within a 10 mile radius of one of our restaurants and we’ll even handle the dishes by providing plastic plates, silverware, and napkins with any catering order.
- Pick Up Buca Carry Out
Pick up Buca for carry out during this busy season. Graduation is so much more than one ceremony. There are practices, end of the year events, and family in from out of town. Our carry out Party Pans make feeding a hungry crowd easy. Set up an Italian buffet in your home or at one of the numerous graduation events on your calendar.
- Gift Certificates for Fellow Graduates, Teachers, and Coaches
Your graduate will probably be attending many of their friends’ graduation parties so don’t let them show up empty handed. Gift cards and e-gift cards come in values starting at $10 and go up to $200 with no expiration dates or service fees. They’re also a great way to thank teachers and coaches.
Look no further than Buca for all your graduation celebration needs! To find out more about Buca’s banquet and group packages or to make a reservation, visit us online or call your neighborhood Buca today!
Celebrate the Staff that Supports You: Administrative Professional’s Day is Wednesday, April 27
You know that your hardworking administrative professionals are the backbone of your company. They work hard every day handling the scheduling and correspondence for your business as well as developing and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, researching databases, and establishing, maintaining, and completing necessary projects. They are a major part of what keeps your business running smoothly, but their talent and competence means that sometimes their work can go unnoticed. This month, make it a point to celebrate the staff that supports you.
Administrative Professionals Day is celebrated annually on the Wednesday during Administrative Professionals Week, the last full week of April. This is a day for employers and supervisors to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals. Often administrative professionals are gifted with cards, flowers or lunches. While cards and flowers are nice, at Buca we think the best choice is to treat your administrative professionals to a lovely Italian lunch.
Join Us and Dine In
At Buca di Beppo we love celebrations! We provide the fun atmosphere, heaping portions of delicious dishes, and impeccable service. Treat your administrative professionals to a lunch at one of our eclectically decorated restaurants. Reserve one of our large, semi-private dining rooms or our Pope’s table for an extra special treat. Regardless of the size of your administrative staff, they will appreciate heading out of the office for an awesome Italian meal to celebrate their hard work.
Delivery and Carry Out
Not every office can come to us to celebrate, so we make it easy to bring the celebration to you. Set up a catered lunch at your office and we can bring your Party Pan orders to any location within a 10-mile radius one of our restaurants. Our Party Pans feed up to 20 and we offer a huge variety of choices so everyone will have a plate full of an Italian treat that they love. We also offer carry out so you can grab exactly what you need to feed your hungry staff. (A great option if the holiday slipped your mind and you need a last minute saving grace.)
Everyone loves Italian food so show your employees how much you appreciate all the hard work they do every day by reserving a table or room at one of our restaurants or arranging for a catered or carry out lunch this Administrative Professionals Day! They will appreciate that you have taken the time to recognize all that they do.
Celebrate Communion in Vatican Style at Buca
Spring is a time of Communion, the holy time of worship, remembrance, and celebration. If your family includes a child participating in their First Communion, this occasion is particularly special. You have been preparing your child for this special day, reviewing expectations and lecturing them about proper behavior during the ceremony. You’ve shopped for their outfits and made sure they looked their best for their photos. Now it’s time to celebrate this momentous occasion with family and friends!
At Buca di Beppo we love a celebration and we have the perfect spot for a First Communion party. Our restaurants feature uniquely themed dining rooms that can accommodate the largest of families or why not celebrate with the leader of the Catholic Church? Well, our version anyway. Our Pope’s Table sits in our Pope Room and comfortably seats 12 to 18 people. The room is decorated with statues, photographs, and other artistic representations of popes past and present plus souvenirs straight from the Vatican! Guests at the Pope’s Table can serve themselves heaping plates of fresh breads, Baked Rigatoni, Chicken Carbonara, Chocolate Chip Cannolis, and anything else you select for your party’s menu, from a “lazy susan” in the middle of the table. Is there a more perfect place to celebrate a First Communion than at The Pope’s Table in the Pope’s Room? We can’t think of one!
When you select the choices you will be offering your guests, know that everything is prepared fresh by our chefs and we have something to suit everyone’s tastes. We can work with any budget or dietary restriction and our family style portions are a great way for children to sample new dishes without the waste if they don’t like something. Communion and First Communion are special times that deserve celebrating. Gather your family and friends and come to Buca di Beppo where our stellar service, plentiful portions, unique decor, and fun atmosphere have made us a favorite celebration destination for a variety of momentous occasions.
Of course we love when you come to our restaurants, but if you are having your Communion celebration at your home or other location we can cater to your every menu need. We can bring your choice of delicious dishes, beverages, desserts, utensils, and napkins to your celebration. Buca loves family celebrations, so remember to put us on the guest list for your upcoming Communion parties!
Tax Season is a Busy Time for Taxpayers and Tax Preparers
This year your deadline for filing your annual tax return with the IRS isn’t April 15, it’s April 18th! Emancipation Day, the day President Abraham Lincoln signed into law a bill ending slavery in Washington, D.C. is typically celebrated on April 16. This year Emancipation Day falls on a Saturday, so it will be celebrated on Friday, April 15. Since this day is treated as a federal holiday, federal offices, including the IRS will be closed and Tax Day will be pushed back to April 18.
Last minute taxpayers, it’s time to decide how you will file your taxes this year. You can file electronically, manually, or through a tax preparer, but that doesn’t mean you should wait until April 18 to visit your tax preparer. Call today to make an appointment before all their available appointment times are taken. Before you begin, gather all your tax documents, including: last year’s return, 1099s, W-2s, credit card summaries, emailed and physical receipts, cancelled checks, and any other documents you think you may need. Last year’s return is a good guide to help you gather what’s missing. Next, determine your filing status. If your marital status changed, your family grew, grown children moved out, you bought a house, or went back to college, these things will all affect your tax status and eligibility for tax credits and deductions. As you work through your form, keep in mind there are tax preparers and hotlines to assist you, but don’t fall for any phishing schemes. Remember that the IRS never initiates contact with taxpayers about their accounts through e-mail, text messages, or social media. When you finish up your taxes (hopefully a bit before April 18) come in to Buca di Beppo to celebrate the fact that you won’t have go through the process again for a full year!
Tax preparers, you are probably buckling down and bracing yourself for all those last minute filers. You and your team are working overtime and through meal breaks. Be sure to feed those hungry stomachs so your super smart brains can work at their peak condition! Let Buca’s catering team supply your office with a perfect selection of Italian-inspired salads, entrees, pastas, desserts, and beverages. We even supply the utensils, plates, and napkins so you don’t need to worry about anything except your next client.
At Buca di Beppo we believe a good meal has the ability to comfort and recharge. No matter what you need from a meal this tax season, Buca’s got it!
