One of our most delicious dishes, our Penne San Remo, has been chosen as our 2016 Winter Chef’s Special. Tasty chicken breasts, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes and green peas are tossed with Italian penne pasta and white wine to create a light cream sauce. Served family-style with our fresh, homemade bread, this dish will warm you up on even the coldest of winter days. Our chefs tenderize the chicken breasts before breading them in flour and special seasonings. They are then sautéed in olive oil and butter until each side is golden brown. The chicken breasts are removed from the pan and sliced into perfect, bite-sized pieces. Garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and artichokes are added to the sizzling pan and dusted with flour. Then in goes the white wine, parmesan cheese, and green peas, to create a vibrantly colored pan of goodness. The sliced chicken returns to the pan and is combined with the rich and creamy sauce. When the perfect flavor profile is reached, a Buca chef adds it to a batch of perfectly al dente penne pasta.
